In itself, you can adjust the part as you wish, so say the pillow times closely to the child's buttocks or do it a little further because the part is also designed for firstborns than it says from 1-12 months. I know that my baby has grown out of the part at the earliest when he is 6 months old and that it will no longer fit him when he is lying down.
