It seems to work. It remains to test well. The holster to carry it on the belt does not make much sense since when sheathing the pinpointer the power button is pressed and it starts up with the touch. The 9v battery compartment has no indication of + and - but be careful to try until you find the correct position as it will not damage the device.
Do I have to test outside? The air test was promising. So, was outside with it. Unfortunately, the object has to be right in front of the pinpointer, otherwise it won't find it. Nothing works at a distance. I bought another one, unfortunately this one is useless.
Detects gold at a distance of 3 cm from the object, embarrassing range. It is not waterproof. The polarity of the battery connection is not even marked.
It is really good product, I tested it and it is waterproof. It detects metal on 10-15cm from it self. I would recommend it.
